We recommended this system to an elderly woman who owned dogs who loved to swim. She needed ease of access to the pool - but also needed to know that if her dogs were able to get into the pool - they would have a way out too. Since her dogs were such avid swimmers we advised her to add the enclosure kit to give her peace of mind. Dogs, like children, should never be left alone when near a pool.
You will need to train the dog how to enter and exit the pool - but with a little training this provided ease of access for both. We recommend adding the gate enclosure kit if you have dogs that have access to the backyard.
